Well sorry to disapoint mates, but it is his NICKNAME HAHAH! John Lydon is his name

You can also not imagine it as his name and think of it as an adjective as he was rotten (rotten = punk)

Now this one's for all you "rebels", pozers, and everybody else who ain't' giving this bloke the credit he deserves.
If it weren't for uncle Johnny here you'd all be way behind. Nowadays sure everybody's putting down the presidents and the queen and the government, but back in the day it wasn't so often. Johnny and the Pistols were one of the first and back then IT WAS A BIG DEAL. He almost went to jail for it and was treated under the traitors act! The Pistols gave many bands the curage to stand up and say "Fuck you, I WON'T TAKE IT!" or just "FUCK YOU!"


I don't have any role models, but if I'd have to have some, he would be one, I admire him for the fact that he does not lie.

Everybody should try that!

What's wrong here is not Johnny making butter comercials, it's you thinking the only way to go is this defined way of behaviour and attitude of punk that you gotta follow and you can't say this & sing about that, or you're a sellout and a poser.
Shit, sounds to me like a set of rules, sounds to me like an originisation, sounds like a bloddy fashion, yes lots of freedom and anarchy in that; not being able to make something like a damn butter comercial. Well fuck that.
